Directions:
Leave the M11 at junction 8a if you are coming from the south, or junction 8 if you are coming from the north. At the motorway roundabout, follow signs for Stansted airport. At the next roundabout take the first exit, following signs for the long stay car park. Go straight on at the next roundabout, pass the Hilton hotel and take the next turning on the left into the long stay car park.
Arrival Procedure:
The car park operates an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system so it is essential you have entered the correct vehicle registration when making your booking. Please bring your booking confirmation to the car park.
Drive up to the entry barrier, where your car registration number will be read. Please wait 15 seconds. If your registration is recognized, a ticket will be printed showing your booking reference and the barrier will lift automatically. If within the 15 seconds the barrier does not issue you with a ticket please press for a ticket. Park your car and transfer to the airport.
Departure Procedure:
Drive to the exit barrier. Insert the ticket you were provided on arrival and the barrier will open.
If your ticket does not have your booking reference printed on it, above the bar code, please show your booking confirmation and entry ticket to a parking attendant, or press the call button on the exit barrier for help.
Transfers:
Transfers operate 24 hours per day, running every 15-20 minutes, taking approximately 15. There are three transfer buses, each bus goes to only one area of the car park - red, yellow or blue - match the colour of your entry ticket, to make sure you get on the right bus. Please allow 45 minutes for check in and transfer to the terminal. On your return, the bus stops outside the terminal are also colour-coded.
Disabled Notes:
Disabled car parking spaces are adjacent to all bus stops (Blue badge holders). All transfer buses accommodate wheelchairs with easy access. Should you require assistance there is a button to press on arrival.
Extra Info:
The long stay provides a free jump start service.
Trailers are accepted at no extra charge. For motorhomes, you will need to park in zone Q, then walk to the admin building to request the bus for transfer. Advise the car park reception on exit for assistance at barrier. No maxium vehicle size, transit vans should park in zone Q.
